As Alice’s dream comes to an end, the Red Queen is shaken hard and turns into the Black Cat.
With the aid of Photoshop I blurred the sharper images I had drawn of them.
The series of coloured squares represent the 364 ‘unbirthday’ presents that Humpty Dumpty referred to, as being preferable to a mere single birthday present.
You’ll note that one of the squares is white (between numbers 123 and 124).
That one is located on the day when Alice Liddell’s birthday would have occurred – the 4th of May, being the 124th day of the year.
