Each photograph is 7 cms by 10 cms. The occasional image is dated 1918, and one says Twynholme in Scotland. The photographs of a French village and its inhabitants are just wonderful. The Scottish images seem to dress two girls as France and Germany (1918?) but I may be wrong. I have added the landscape imagery which, though conventional, is nevertheless of interest. One recognisable location is Carcassonne, the spectacular fortified town. I have scanned the originals to allow great detail when enlarged.
