| W.E.L.BUNN    The Regionalist artist, Bill Bunn, studied with
        Grant Wood for five years and was involved in the New Deal mural commissions
        - post office murals in Dubuque,
        Iowa, 1935-1938, Minden, Nebraska, 1937-1939, Hickman, Kentucky, 1939-1940,
        and Hamburg, Iowa The Hamburg Peony Festival in tempera, 1939-1940.
         Elizabeth Anderson writes in Depression Legacy:Nebraska's
        Post Office Art "The
        various elements of Fort Kearny Protectorate on the Overland Trail at
        Minden are arranged like beads on an abacus. Bunn returned to industrial
        design after World War II and in 1948 was design manager for the Shaeffer
