H.G.Hine (1811 - 1895)

Hine's The House That Jack Built shows what his work as a PUNCH illustrator would have looked like with decent paper and perhaps, later, colour.

It was published in 1854. It has a characteristic illustrator's fist to the writing which was Hine's own.
