Joass (1868-1952) was a highly competent Scottish architect, best known for some sturdy civic buildings in London, working later in partnership with John Belcher.His early architectural drawings show a superb grasp of detail and perspective, here a selection of examples from the Studio Magazine c1896 article on Formal Gardens in Scotland.
