Rare this in FORTUNE magazine- an article about an established artist, Edward Bruce (1897-1943). He is best known as the Director of the PWAP (Public Works of Art Project) under the New Deal. His Wikipedia entry notes that he couldn't sell paintings after the Depression and he was forced to return to his business career.At the time of the article he was acting as Lobbyist for the Calamba Sugar Company.
