| A drawing is created during a passage of time.
 It fascinates me that the word ‘drawing’ is both a present participle as well as a noun.
 Present participles are active words, describing nouns that carry out the action given in the verb.
 So – the word ‘drawing’ describes both the process of making the image as well as being the result of the final image itself.
 “I am drawing a drawing”, as it were - the same word for a verb and a noun.
