How tenacious is local Lincolnshire wit. Two years out of four Watts' grim depiction of the Great Poet was adorned with a traffic cone, and the third a Zimmerframe. On the fourth visit I was told another cone had been deployed but had been stolen overnight for another statue (unspecified).
