 BOTTOM ROW Geoffrey Robinson, illustrations to Hockley Clarke's The 
        Unfolding Year, Rockliff London 1947, four pages, each 13 x 22cms 
        representing the four quarters of the Year. A highly professional and 
        sensitive illustrator and painter, Geoffrey Robinson (born 1910) specialised 
        in imagery of the countryside for which he had a real affinity. He was 
        that rare breed an illustrator who also acted as an art director (Good 
        Housekeeping), and editor (Who's Who in Art). He also illustrated Aesop's 
        Fables.
