The News Review called itself "Britain's first newsmagazine". It modelled aspects of its design and even a certain shrillness of editorial comment on Henry Luce's TIME magazine. On these two screens I have assembled in chronological order, with hardly a week missing, its useful compilations of the way other magazines and newspapers were responding to increasingly ominous political developments after Munich. Sometimes it presented a survey of world imagery, sometimes just British publications.
